Be Like JP Campaign

​Mujerave's Be Like JP Campaign, inspired by the actions of Katie Palsrok's friend JP Steiding (pictured below), is an opportunity for youth to practice selflessness and generosity. By forgoing gifts for their birthday or other holiday, children learn the value of giving and become Deputy Young Ambassadors in the process! JP Steiding, pictured at right, decided to ask his friends and family to donate to Mujerave instead of buying him birthday gifts.  
JP raised enough money for Mujerave to build an efficient, wood-burning stove through its Healthy Homes program. This means women like Aurelia, pictured at right, no longer have to cook her family's meals over an open fire.
