MUJERAVE'S PROJECT PARTNERS
Mujerave signed a formal agreement with ECODESSA in 2016. Since then, ECODESSA's field staff and agronomists have helped build Mujerave's seven industrial greenhouses and trained countless women in the following topics:
Furthermore, ECODESSA supplies seedlings directly to women's groups within projects that have a tree-planting pre-requisite. For example, recipients of a Mujerave cookstove must plant 15 trees in agroforestry patterns. ECODESSA provides trees and agroforestry workshops for Mujerave women's groups so that the trees planted can produce fruit, preserve and replenish topsoil, and reduce erosion on the farmland of participating families.
- Production of organic fertilizer
- Planting and caring for greenhouse crops including tomatoes, bell peppers, and cucumbers
- Planting of medicinal herbs and other plants in household gardens

With guidance from ECODESSA, Mujerave's women's groups are closely involved in every step of the process in our projects. Women decide where the greenhouse will be built, participate in building the greenhouse so they can repair it, and make the organic fertilizer themselves to prepare for the first planting.
